He also studied piano with a major in music composition at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2003. Following these studies, in 2005 he completed his master's degree in music composition at the University of Western Ontario where he also taught keyboard harmony to first and second year undergraduate students. Brad takes an individual approach in his piano lessons that focuses on the interests and needs of each individual student. In particular, students are guided to improve their sight-reading, playing technique, rhythm, musicality, and approaches to practice.

Having a strong background and training in music theory as a composer, Brad also offers lessons in music theory and can help music students prepare for RCM theory exams of all levels.
